Coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading across the world now. It is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus that emerged in China in December 2019.
The symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. COVID-19 could be very severe and even cause death. Until now, there is no coronavirus vaccine.
People are reminded to take preventions that involve frequent hand-washing, wearing face masks and staying home if you are sick.
If you think you have those symptoms or might have been exposed to the virus, you can have a self-assessment online now. Ministry of Health Malaysia has made a special website that launches a new COVID-19 self-assessment tool online.
This assessment system provides two types of languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Step 1: Provide your age
Step 2: Answers 6 questions that are related to the symptoms of COVID-19.
Step 3: After finishing the above questions, you can either provide your email to receive the latest news about COVID-19 or skip this step.
Step 4: The system will show your health condition according to the answers that you have provided.
If your result is highly possible that you have been exposed to the virus, please contact MOH Specialist Doctor immediately.
