The COVID-19 pandemic has forced Malaysia into lockdown. Schools have been closed since and classes moved online.
Online classes is indeed convenient for many, but not for some who are from poor family or lived in rural areas. They may not be able to afford the devices needed for the classes or will experience bad internet connection.
However, this could not stop little Heliyana from taking her First Term Assessment 2020 seriously.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the Form 1 student from SMK Tinggi Sarikei was forced to sit for the assessment on the road because of bad WiFi connection in their home. Her family took a photo of her concentrating on the exam with a phone in her hand.

The school has also uploaded the photo to their Facebook page, praising Heliyana for her strong will to learn. It captioned, “Heliyana's exemplary behaviour in sitting for First Term Assessment 2020 during implementation of MCO & CMCO. She is indeed a role model to all the students. Without pain and sacrifice, we would have nothing.”
Kudos to you, Heliyana! And for the rest of us, looks like we have just being reminded a very precious lesson by the schoolgirl.
