One of the downsides of e-payment is definitely paying extras without knowing.
A man in Singapore accidentally inserted 2 extra zeroes when paying a Panmee seller. He ended up paying $450 (approx. RM1460) for a $4.50 (approx. RM14) noodle.
The seller found out when they were doing their sales closing and quickly shared it on Facebook to look for the customer.
A few days later, the hawker found the customer and returned the $445.50 change to him.
The moral of the story is, double check when you are paying and after you are done paying. And if you realised someone paid you extra, be honest and return the extra to them.
