A Thai woman spent 100,000 Thai baht (about RM12k) to buy gold. After taking it to the store for testing, she found that it was all fake. It was just silver and copper with gold plated on the surface. She was so angry that she almost fainted.
According to the Thai World Daily, the owner of a gold shop said in an interview that a woman from Chonburi took the gold worth 100,000 baht that she bought online to a gold shop for inspection. She lost more than 100,000 baht (about RM12k).
