Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok had held an online charity concert on the 9th of May (Saturday) and succeed to bring millions of people through the live-streamed and raised a huge amount of funds.
After the Canto-pop legend Sam Hui held his live concert at Harbour City in April and drew over 2 million viewers, another live concert was held yesterday. The Aaron Kwok Cheer Up & Dance Charity Concert 2020 was held at Harbour City mall, Hong Kong, and produced by Patrick Siu. The concert was joined by 100 dancers and longed for 1-hour.
The concert was live-streamed via Aaron Kwok's official Facebook page, Lawrence Cheng's YouTube channel and Facebook page, and also Harbour City's Facebook page. According to Sinchew, the concert was held to fundraise for dancers and film industry who are affected during the pandemic. The concert was set on fire with Aaron Kwok's and the dancers' passion, it was a huge success.
Aaron Kwok sang 13 songs in the concert and specially dedicated the song, 'Bu Lao De Qing Ge' to his mother who passed away in February. Aaron Kwok's wife, Moka Fang brought along with the daughter, Chantelle to attend the concert to support him too.
"Charity is my lifelong career. When I set up a charity fund, it was influenced by my mother. She took me along as a volunteer to help people, and get a lot of happiness. Tomorrow is Mother's Day, although she has gone, she will always be in her heart." Aaron said.
