Recently, it was reported that the launching of the iPhone 12 series might be delayed for at least one quarter.
According to Bloomberg, Broadcom Inc., one of the major suppliers for Apple Inc., hinted that the launching of the latest iPhones will be delayed.
During an earnings conference call, Broadcom's CEO Hock Tan discussed a “major product cycle delay” at a “large North American mobile phone” customer, without explicitly naming Apple.
However, the CEO of Broadcom admitted that the company has received orders for iPhone components but the current problem facing is the timing. He also expects that the revenue of Broadcom will not rise before their fourth fiscal quarter due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the global transportation industry.
