"The Police Did Nothing!" Malaysian Frustrated Over Lack Of SOPs in KL PPV Centres

A viral video has emerged on social media that shows a man visibly frustrated over the lack of SOPs displayed at one of the PPV centers in Kuala Lumpur.

The man in the video, who only goes by the name "Sir" by his audience is seen telling the foreign workers to keep their distance who was later approached by police officers. However, instead of trying to help diffuse the overbearing crowd, they were more concerned with the fact that the man was recording a video and asked for him to stop.

The anger and frustration felt by this man resonate well with millions of Malaysians who have been forced to adhere to the national lockdown since months ago, despite never seeing any significant improvement in Covid-19 cases. In the video, the man went on a rant about how authorities do not seem to know how to execute their responsibilities accordingly even though they have every power to do so. "If this continues, we will be under lockdown until next year!" The man exclaimed in exasperation.

There's only so much effort we can do as an individual when it comes to keeping the Covid-19 spread to a controllable rate. Ultimately, it's those who have the power to regulate policies and uphold necessary laws that will actually drive consequential changes to the country. However, are they willing to?

That's the question.
