This is the part where I say to refrain from reading and most certainly to never scroll down past this point if you haven't watched Spiderman: No Way Home— unless you don't mind any spoilers.
Now, let's unwrap all the easter eggs in Spiderman: No Way Home that will make you want to watch the movie all over again:
1. Sneaky Numerical References
• Specifically, the license plate “63ASM-3”, which is a direct reference to Amazing Spider-Man No. 3 from 1963, which features the first-ever appearance of Doctor Octopus, right after the villain himself makes his grand appearance in the movie.
• In the same scene, a yellow taxi with a number plate 1228 also makes its way into the scene; that honors the late Stan Lee's birth date.
2. “With Great Power There Must Also Come Great Responsibility,”
A true hardcore fan would've connected the dots right away when Aunt May utters the cursed line, “With Great Power, There Must Also Come Great Responsibility,” right before she turns into past tense. It is a nod to the iconic line that Uncle Ben utters to Peter Parker (Tobey Mcguire) just before his death.
3. Black Spider-Man?
Right after Electro or Max is "cured", Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) removes his mask before him, and Max—who always thought Spiderman was black— was rather surprised. Later, he'd utter these exact words: "There's gotta be a black Spiderman somewhere out there,". which of course references Miles Morales.
4. MJ's Black Dahlia Necklace Post-Peter Erasure
In Spiderman: No Way Home's ending scene where Tom's Peter walks into the donut shop MJ works at, MJ can be seen still wearing the Black Dahlia's necklace Tom gave her many moons ago in Spiderman: Far From Home.
5. Peter Parker's Own Apartment
Also during the ending, Tom's Peter can be seen moving into a new apartment. OG fans would probably recognize in an instant how similar the apartment is to where Tobey's Peter used to live.
5. When Peter Tries To Explain The Avengers To The Other Peters
I don't think anybody will ever get over the interactions between all three Peters, particularly one where Tom's Peter tries to explain The Avengers to them. He only manages to say, "Earth's Mightiest..." before Tobey's Peter interrupts him. In the comics, The Avengers is famously known for their signature slogan, "The Mightiest Heroes."
6. Peter Parker's Suit In The Final Scene
Lastly, the classic OG red-and-blue Spiderman suit from the comics, in contrary to the fancier version he has worn throughout the franchise.
