JELI - A man died after being attacked by his own brother with a sword at their house in Kampung Sungai Rual Melayu this morning.
The incident at 1.20am happened when the victim's brother who is in his 30s and suffering from depression, believed to have suddenly snapped and attacked the victim by slitting the back of his neck.

Jeli District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Arifin, said the initial investigation found that the 30-year-old victim was believed to be cooking in the kitchen of their house before the incident.
"The suspect is believed to have suddenly come from behind before stabbing his brother with a sword.

"The incident caused the victim to die at the scene," he said when contacted by Kosmo! today.
According to Ahmad, the police are still conducting further investigations into the case.
