A 23-year-old mother from Solihull, England was found guilty for the murder of her own 3-year-old daughter, Kaylee-Jayde Priest. She has been sentenced to 15 years in jail.
On the night of the incident, Priest's then-boyfriend came over to their apartment where they intended to have sex, but their plan was interrupted by her daughter who insisted that she wanted to play.
The couple became infuriated and although it isn't clear what happened next, according to The West Midlands Police Department in a press release, the daughter "suffered catastrophic abdominal and chest injuries, including fractured ribs" which eventually led to her death.
In the bizarre event following her daughter's death, Priest uploaded a TikTok video, seeming to mourn the death of her daughter, including the caption, "I miss you", "RIP my darling", and "Mommy miss you, my angel". In another TikTok video, she can be seen crying in apparent remorse, also posted weeks after her daughter's death.
Needless to say, people berated her in the comment section, saying it's one of the cruelest acts a mother could do.
