Sanrio's Gudetama received a new, full trailer for its upcoming Netflix live-action series Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure.
Netflix shared the official trailer for Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure. The trailer opens with a confused Gudetama asking where it is before segueing into shots of it lazily going along with everything going on around it. An energetic chick named Shakipiyo asks if they're siblings and encourages Gudetama to go on an adventure together in search of their mama.
In typical Gudetama fashion, it responds, "Go by yourself." Despite its reluctance to do anything, Gudetama is swept away on an adventure with Shakapiyo, where it braves rain, getting eaten and going bad. The trailer ends with the announcement that Gudetama: An Excellent Adventure will stream exclusively on Netflix, premiering on Dec. 13.
