Malacca: It was a once in a lifetime experience for visitors of the Taming Sari Tower yesterday as the gyro infrastructure had suddenly malfunctioned, causing it to hover 50-60 metres above the air.
The harrowing ordeal quickly made waves on social media, as a video of the scene was shared by a fellow TikTok user.
It’s believed that the trapped visitors had to be evacuated by the fire brigade, following hours-long wait for rescue. Fortunately, no casualties had been reported.

Having resolved the mishap that same day, Duyong assemblyman Mohd. Noor Helmy then visited the site and took a test run, assuring future visitors that such error shall never occur again in the future.
