What was meant to be a day of relaxation and enjoyment, soon turned into a terrifying incident as one man found himself trapped in an eco park as heavy rainfall caused waters to rise, leaving him and other victims stranded.
Sharing the terrifying incident on TikTok, user @syis.ak had been enjoying his time at Risda Eco Park in Kampung Ulu Slim, Perak and started to witness a water head phenomenon begin to occur at the recreation centre last Friday evening.
In the video, he states that when he arrived at the centre at 3:30pm, the weather was still clear and hadn't rained yet, leaving the river water calm and clear. However soon after he had finishing transporting the items he brought back to his car at around 6:27pm, he was surprised by a loud sound of a rush of water, witnessing the river's current begin to rise rapidly literally 2 minutes later.

In under a minute after, the water overflowed so much that it began to reach the tenting area, leaving him with the tough decision of whether to save his belongings in his tent or his car.
The victim had stated that himself and a bunch of other individuals had come to have a break and enjoy themselves at the park, but had now found themselves trapped at the recreation centre, unable to escape due to being surrounded by the rapid waters, and that the only way out that was previously accessible by car had now been taken over by the river due to the overflowing waters.
As the victims were gathered in the hall of the center, it was understood that the river waters were soon rising so high, that all of them eventually had to go up onto the stage of the hall to protect themselves from the incoming river waters.
Thankfully the next day, the waters had began to subside and everyone that had been trapped at the Risda Eco Park were rescued.
