A chilling video has been making rounds online, capturing a terrifying home invasion in Puchong. The footage shows several vehicles pulling up to a house before a group of masked men, wielding machetes, forcefully break in.
Subang Jaya Deputy Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Fairus Jaafar, confirmed that authorities received an emergency call via MERS 999 at approximately 12:13 AM on January 26. According to initial reports, a total of 11 masked individuals stormed into the residence through unlocked gates and doors, immediately targeting the occupants inside.
The intruders, each armed with approximately six-inch machetes, launched a brutal attack on two men, aged 31 and 38, inside the living room. The victims sustained multiple injuries as the assailants relentlessly hacked at their shoulders, legs, arms, and various parts of their bodies.
Following the assault, the suspects swiftly fled the scene in three vehicles. However, no belongings were reported stolen, leaving the motive behind the attack unclear.
In response to the violent incident, police launched an immediate investigation and, within 24 hours, arrested six suspects aged between 23 and 28. Authorities suspect these individuals were directly involved in the home invasion and are currently working to identify other culprits.
Superintendent Fairus revealed that all six detainees have prior records related to criminal activities and drug offenses. They have been remanded for three days, until January 29, to facilitate further investigations.
The case is being investigated under Sections 394 and 326 of the Penal Code, covering offenses related to voluntarily causing hurt while committing robbery and inflicting injuries using weapons.
Both victims were rushed to Serdang Hospital for treatment. Despite the severity of their injuries, medical reports indicate that they are in stable condition.
