Two Chinese men tragically lost their lives while 19 others were rescued after a tour bus overturned while descending from Genting Highlands around 11 a.m. today.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department Director, Datuk Dr. Wan Mohamad Zaidi Wan Isa, confirmed that the two victims succumbed to head injuries.
The bodies have been sent to Bentong Hospital in Pahang, he stated during a phone interview.
The bus was carrying 21 passengers, including 18 Chinese nationals. The driver and two tour guides were local residents.
Earlier, a video circulating online showed the aftermath of the accident, with several emergency personnel already at the scene.
