WATCH: Horde Of "Mat Rempit's" Cause Chaos During Police Operation At Puchong Toll
In recent weeks, cases of disturbances from "mat rempit's" have been on the rise, with the most notable being an incident of a
massive group spotted riding in the opposite direction on a highway in Penang. These sorts of dangerous activities have caused the public to call on the police force to take action for these reckless activities and recently, a sting operation to take them down, has just caused more chaos for road users.
In a series of videos posted on TikTok, one user spotted a massive army of the bike riders along Puchong Toll, potentially causing danger to other vehicles, as they were evading a police roadblock just after the toll exit.
In the first video, it can be seen that these bikers were desperately trying to get away from police officers, taking to a small road to hopefully get them off their tail. Soon after, officers on motorcycles arrived at the road and began blocking the exit, which forced the motorcyclist to head for the straight road ahead.
However that maneuver proved to be even more dangerous as the motorcyclists discovered more roadblocks ahead, leading them to begin a u-turn and start riding in the opposite direction toward the Puchong toll, posing a danger to the vehicles heading out of the toll exit.
It didn't take long before the motorcyclists realised that they were trapped, which subsequently caused them to stop their group of motorcycles in the middle of the busy road, plotting their next maneuver to escape.
It's clear to see the chaos these errant motorcyclists are causing to the general public, and while it seems like a massive task, hopefully the police force is able to take action against their behaviour and make our roads safer once again.
