Indonesian Muslim actor Jefri Nichol, 25, has sparked outrage among fans and netizens after making several startling admissions during a recent interview. The actor, known for his charismatic roles on screen, shared details about his personal life and lifestyle choices that have ignited heated debates online.
During the interview, Jefri candidly revealed that he has been intimate with 20 women. This confession took many by surprise, especially considering his young age and religious background.
His remarks about relationships, however, were just the beginning.
In preparation for a wrestling match with fellow actor El Rumi, Jefri shared his unconventional dietary plan. He revealed that to gain the necessary 10 kilograms to match his opponent's weight, his diet included pork.
"I took a lot of meat, and part of my dietary plan included pork," Jefri explained during an appearance on a popular audio show hosted by Vincent and Desta.
The admission left many in shock, as pork consumption is prohibited in Islam. Even Desta, one of the hosts, assumed Jefri was not Muslim. To clarify, the actor reiterated his faith, stating, "I am a Muslim."
Adding to the provocative nature of the interview, Jefri openly discussed his preferences when it comes to women. When asked what he finds most attractive, he casually responded, their backs.
Jefri's statements have triggered a wave of criticism on social media. Many users expressed disappointment, accusing the actor of tarnishing the image of Islam and failing to uphold the values expected of a Muslim.
