In the city of Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), a stray dog named Moo Daeng has captured the hearts of Thais with its unwavering loyalty to a master who will never return.
The tale of Moo Daeng meaning "red pork", gained attention on Facebook, originally posted by "Mari-Mo Photography."
One striking image shows Moo Daeng curled up outside a 7-Eleven, covered with a red blanket.
A handwritten sign beside the dog reads: "Thank you to all customers for your kindness, but Moo Daeng cannot eat liver or milk. Please help it live a long life."
According to the Thai media, Moo Daeng was the constant companion of a homeless man who roamed the area.
The man, who appeared to have a mental disorder, often dressed as a hermit and relied on begging to survive.

A local who recently visited Moo Daeng discovered him lying down with tears in his eyes, a sight that shattered the hearts of many.
Moo Daeng's owner fell seriously ill and passed away in November last year.
Despite his absence, Moo Daeng continues to return to the same spot, waiting faithfully as if his beloved owner might return.
