Staying home for long periods can be difficult and feel isolated, but don't worry! Google heard you demand!
Video games have always been a great way to socialize while at home, especially during a time like this, as it can help cope with feelings of isolation and loneliness. And so, Google is providing free access to Stadia pro for two months in 14 countries, starting from 8 April 2020 and will be rolling out over the next 48 hours.
However, Stadia is currently not available in Malaysia, Stadia is available to those based in the following countries:
Belgium
Canada
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Netherlands
Norway
Spain
Sweden
United Kingdom
United States
Stadia is the cloud-based gaming platform operated by Google that lets you play your favorite hit video games across screens instantly, all you need a device with Internet connection and support for Google Chrome, no extra hardware required. It is accessible on the Gamepads on a computer, TV with Chromecast Ultra and mobile devices like Pixel smartphones, supported smartphones from Samsung, Razer, and Asus, as well as Chrome OS tablets and Chromecast.
While Stadia Pro subscription unlocks a growing collection of free games to play on Stadia and there will be more free games to add to your collection every month.
Anyone who signs up will get two free months of Stadia Pro with instant access to nine games, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection, and Thumper. After that, Stadia Pro is $9.99 a month, but you can opt-out of your subscription at any time on the Stadia website or in the Stadia app.
If you’re already a paid Stadia Pro subscriber, you won’t charge for the next two months.
