KL: Toddler's Face Becomes Rotten After Doctor Mistakenly Prescribes A Cream That Was Never Designed For Children

A social media user @nrdeanna has taken to Twitter to reveal the irresponsible action of a doctor from a private clinic that she consulted regarding her daughter's skin condition, whose careless instruction has exacerbated the initially minimal rash on her daughter's face.

What started as a small circle of rash on her cheek has now aggravated into quite a pool of reddened infection, almost infecting her eyes, and the mother is planning to sue. According to @nrdeanna, the doctor in question had mistakenly prescribed a steroid cream, which is not suitable to be put topically on children under the age of two.

The concerned mother then rushed to the hospital to get better treatment for her daughter, in which her daughter was later prescribed with antibiotics.  @nrdeanna stopped applying the cream altogether once she realised the cream only made her daughter's skin worse.

It is indeed very unfortunate when such cases of negligence happens, from a medical professional no less. We hope the daughter can fully recover from this ordeal, and the mother can fight for justice.
