Pro Japanese Tekken player, Tanukana, has landed herself in hot water after spewing insensitive remarks regarding short men.

Speaking in a livestream on Feb. 15, the esports public figure brazenly expressed that "men who are below 170 centimeters don't have human rights."

Tanukana's derogatory act didn't stop there. Even more shocking, she pointed out that short men should also undergo knee-lengthening surgery.

Her ill-mannered outlook towards the issue caused an uproar among the audience, and ultimately her career. Despite backtracking and tweeting her apology soon after, the damage had already been done.

Following the controversy, it was reported that Tanukana was later dropped by the Cyclops Athlete Gaming. Famous sponsors (including Red Bull) have also removed her from all official pages.
