Malaysians To Get Vaccine By March as PM Launches Immunisation Handbook

As reported by Bernama, today the 16th of February 2021, the country led by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will launch the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Handbook.

The book will entail information on this, the largest vaccination programme to be ever implemented throughout the country. Among the contents of said handbook, parts of it will be divided into :-


1. Types of Covid-19 vaccines used by the government

2. Facilities provided to store the vaccines 

3. Religious views on the vaccination process

4. Immunisation guidelines

Scheduled to be broadcasted on RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia), and other local Malaysian television stations, the launch was announced to begin at 9.30am this morning. The handbook will also be able to be accessed by the public, via a website launched simultaneously. 

According to announcements, the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme will roll out in three phases. It will begin at the end of the month, and will target up to almost 80% (26.5 million recipients) of the Malaysian population, for free of charge. 

Following a volunteer basis, the registration for the vaccine is expected to happen by March.
