As the cases in Malaysia decline, and vaccination rates reach 90% (adult population), today (10th Oct 2021) at about 3pm just now, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri announced a lifting over interstate travel bans.
Thrilled at the opportunity to greet the endemic, put an end to routine-solitude and meet loved ones all around the country once again, here are 5 rules to keep in mind with this latest update.
1. Only FULLY VACCINATED individuals are allowed to travel.
2. Domestic tourism will be allowed.
3. International travel for tourism and other purposes is allowed without the need of the MyTravelPass.
4. Random police checks will be conducted to ensure that all individuals participating in travel are fully vaccinated, and adhering to respective SOPs.
5. Foreigners are NOT allowed to travel to Malaysia for the time being.
That's all for now, but in the meantime, stay safe and stay tuned to Goody for further updates.
