The Tuaran District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Noraidin Awang Maidin, informed the public that the suspect was apprehended around 3 am and subsequently tested positive for drugs. Shockingly, three separate reports were filed against the 29-year-old suspect by different victims on the same day.
According to Deputy Superintendent Noraidin, the victims came forward after enduring sexual harassment by an unidentified man between 1 pm and 4 pm on a Sunday.
In addition to molesting the victims, the suspect allegedly stole a purse from one of them and took money before fleeing the scene. As of now, no updates have been provided regarding the punishment for the suspect's crimes, except that he will be referred back to Mesra Bukit Padang Hospital for further evaluation of his mental condition.
This distressing incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of individuals in public spaces, emphasizing the need for increased vigilance and preventive measures against such acts of harassment and assault.
