Crime thriller series "Karma," starring Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-a, Lee Hee-jun, and Kim Sung-kyun, is set to be unveiled next month, Netflix announced on Tuesday.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, the Netflix original series will be released on April 4.
The Kdrama follows the intertwined fates of six individuals who find themselves ensnared in inescapable entanglements. Park Hae-soo plays a man who, after witnessing a mysterious accident, becomes involved in an irreversible deal. Shin Min-a takes on the role of Joo-yeon, a doctor who has lived her entire life burdened by the trauma of a childhood incident.
Lee Hee-jun portrays a man who stakes everything on a cryptocurrency investment, even resorting to private loans, only to end up drowning in debt. Kim Sung-kyun plays another character who, after losing his job unfairly, is offered a high-stakes proposition.
Lee Kwang-soo and Gong Seung-yeon depict a successful oriental medicine doctor in Gangnam and his girlfriend, a couple who seemingly have everything they desire.
The series is written and directed by Lee Il-hyung, known for his work on the films A Violent Prosecutor and Remember.
