If there is a special place in hell reserved for anyone, it has to be those who injure helpless animals right? Apparently yesterday (Feb 22), a postman from Pos Malaysia, was caught injuring a dog using an elastic rubber band.
The CCTV video caught him red handed, when he shot an elastic band at a dog, injuring it's one eye in the process.
The postman waited outside the gate of a home, stretched an elastic band, and shot the dog in its own home compound. The dog flinched and ran away.
The video of said incident then went viral, after it was shared via a Facebook post on Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue, upon hearing from the owner of the dog, residing in Kluang, Johor.
According to the post, the dog was injured on its left eye, and the weapon of choice, was found at the scene of the crime. Upon uploading the video, the organization went ahead to advise the owner, to get himself a lawyer from Lawyers for Animal Rights, as means to pursue a legal case against the postman.
Since then, recent reports have stated that action will be taken upon the postman, should he be found guilty. Lawyers for Animal Rights also urged Pos Malaysia to not be complicit in the matter, and lodge a report on the perpetrator, as soon as possible.
The viral post has garnered over 1k likes, 2.5k shares, and netizens have not fallen short on crucifying the cruel postman.
