Three separate shooting incidents in Georgia have left 8 killed, six of whom were Asian women. The shootings took place in three different massage parlors with close proximity to each other. The suspect Robert Aaron, 21 was arrested shortly after.

These incidents appeared to have been targeting Asians, which bear an awful similarity to the recent anti-Asian crimes endured by the Asian American community as of late. It is indeed a deeply upsetting example of how racism can lead to violence.
In the fight against racism, the first crucial step one needs to take is to educate themselves so as to spread awareness to a wider audience, in the hope to create a bigger allyship.
