The fashion world constantly revolves around trends, some a tad bizzare than others. Think platform Crocs or denim boots- yes, that sort of nightmare!
As a bagaholic, I've had my fair share of witnessing somewhat unfavourable bag trends too. One of the trends, to be precise, is the tiny bag craze.
Thanks to brands like Jacquemus and Balenciaga, their surge of bite-sized bags have created a frenzy among fashion enthusiasts. The rest of the world however, was and is still clearly perplexed by this bizzareness. What can you even fit in these tiny bags? Perhaps a lip gloss or 3-4 cards, that's it.
The thing is, fashion devotees aren't fazed by practicality. To them, fashion preceeds functionality as probably most of them don't even carry much to social events.
My verdict: 50/50
As much as I love feasting my eyes on these bags, I'd never be willing to splurge on an arm candy that could't fit even the bare necessities.
Leave the trend to only the boldest fashion lovers who can keep the spark alive. Until then, I'd rather carry something that can fit my phone!
