1. All Of Us Are Dead
South Korea has excelled at the zombie horror titles over the past decade, which has seen some incredible releases such as Train to Busan, Rampant, Kingdom, and Alive. Thanks to the aforementioned titles it was a no-brainer that All of Us Are Dead would be wildly popular with Netflix subscribers. In fact, the series is so popular, that a second season is also on the way.
While the series didn't generate the same amount of views as Squid Game, over 650 million hours viewed is nothing to scoff at.
2. Business Proposal
Added to Netflix at the very end of February, Business Proposal has been the best performing weekly k-drama on Netflix in 2022. The series is an adaptation of a beloved and popular webtoon novel The Office Blind Date so its popularity shouldn't come as any surprise.
3. Twenty Five Twenty One
A story with a throwback to the 90s is an easy way to grab the attention of many millennial subscribers. The series has performed extremely well in South Korea, which shouldn't surprise anyone, and the series was also able to make it into the top tens of many Asian and Middle-Eastern countries.
4. Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area
It's been a long wait for the release of the Korean adaptation of the worldwide phenomenon that was Money Heist. While the series hasn't seen the same level of popularity as its predecessor, it's still a worthy adaptation and with its Korean charm adds something new to the story.
5. Forecasting Love and Weather
Thanks to the likes of Navillera, Sweet Home, Love Alarm, and more, Song Kang is one of the most recognisable actors on Netflix. Often finding himself in excellent dramas and romantic comedies it comes as no surprise that Forecasting Love and Weather was another popular series.
