With so many passengers flying in and out of the city every day, Penang International Airport might appear to be rather crowded.
That said, going to the airport and not being able to find parking can be a nuisance for many as it is typically packed at any time of the day.
But don't worry, it's expected that the airport's new multi-level parking lot will open on April 1 and allay concerns about overpriced and lack of parking.
You would only be charged RM3 for the first 4 hours and RM2 for the next consecutive hours. But, if you want to leave your car at the airport for a whole day, the fee would only be RM33, which is rather reasonable considering how expensive most airport parking can be.
Three payment methods will be available for selection: Touch N Go, Ticket Pay @ Counter, Scan, Register Number, and Pay @ Counter.
Also, the Plaza Premium Lounge will be accessible at domestic departure, and Penang Airport Major Renovation will commence by end of 2023.
