A man caught his wife and father "in the act" and is now suing his father for NT$600,000 (approximately RM87,000).
According to reports, the man, who has been married to his wife for almost seven years, caught them in a passionate embrace when he returned home one day.
It turns out that the two had developed an illicit relationship during the pandemic while spending a lot of time together.
When confronted, the wife explained that she was only comforting her father-in-law and that there was nothing to worry about.
However, the man decided to divorce his wife and asked his father to stop seeing her. Although the father agreed, he continued to meet with her even after the divorce.
The man's brother-in-law even caught his father kissing the wife's cheek and calling her "baby."
The man had enough and took his father to court, claiming that his father's actions had violated his spousal rights. His father then argued in court that he had "accidentally" kissed her while intoxicated and the hug was purely innocent as it was just to simply comfort him.
After examining the evidence, the judge ordered the father to pay NT$150,000 (approximately RM22,000) to his son. This case is open for appeal.
Talk about drama! It's a heartbreaking situation when family members betray each other, but it's especially devastating when it's your own spouse and father.
