First, it was the Perodua Bezza, then the Honda HR-V, and now, another individual faced issues with their Mitsubishi Triton. The man took to Facebook to recount his experience of purchasing a used Mitsubishi Triton Mivec 2017 model from a car dealership in Seri Kembangan.
However, just 48 hours after the purchase, the vehicle broke down. While some might argue it's a used car, and issues are expected, the man discovered that the mileage had been tampered with, making him feel scammed into buying a car that was already problematic.
His ordeal began when he picked up the secondhand car on December 1, 2023. Two days later, during a journey to Kedah, the car overheated. Upon inspecting the repair costs, he felt suspicious and contacted the dealership. However, they claimed no responsibility as the car had been sold.
On December 13, he took the car for inspection, discovering later that the repairs would cost him RM17,275. The issues included a rusted water pump, timing chain and belt problems, turbo issues, leaking air conditioning condenser, and more.

His social media post garnered attention, with others sharing similar experiences of being scammed by the same dealership. As of now, the dealership hasn't released an official statement, but an individual related to the dealership is aware of the issue and requests time to investigate, wanting to hear both sides of the story before providing updates.
