Oriental Daily reported that a source from the Ministry of Education (MoE) said, it is very likely that schools will not be reopening right after the Movement Control Order (MCO) is over.
According to the source, the earliest possible reopen date would be in the middle of May, or after the Aidilfitri festival, but it's still not confirmed.
Datuk Dr. Mah Hang Soon told Oriental Daily that it is still unknown whether the MCO will end on April 14, therefore the MoE will not take any risk by reopening schools.
