The owners of Father's Organic Farm have apologised to the victims of the Batang Kali landslide after the fatal incident claimed 24 lives and left another nine still missing.

In a statement on their Facebook page, the owners said they "humbly bow to everyone affected by the tragedy".

"To all victims and families, with heavy hearts, we sincerely sympathise with all the victims and families that were affected in the Batang Kali landslide tragedy, which happened on Dec 16.

"Disasters are faceless. Love is with us! Our hearts are closely connected with you, may the deceased rest in peace, heartfelt and deepest condolences to the families; pray for the survivors and the injured for recovery, and please, continue to take care. We also pay our tribute to all parties involved in the rescue.

"Once again, we humbly bow to everyone affected by this tragedy," they said in a statement on their Facebook page Sunday (Dec 18).

This is the first time the owners of Father's Organic Farm publicly made a statement on the landslide tragedy, after having changed their profile to a "mourning black" hours after the disaster struck the farm in the wee hours of Friday (Dec 16).
