An Aussie influencer perfectly describes ordering 'kopi' in coffee shops in Malaysia and we're impressed.
Based on her TikTok, she talks about how complicating it is to order coffee in Malaysia and simplifies it with certain code words.

Normal - coffee with sugar and condensed milk
C - coffee with sugar and evaporated milk
O - coffee with no milk but with sugar
Kosong - coffee with no sugar but with milk
Peng - iced coffee
Gau - coffee that's extra strong or thick
*can be applied to all drinks (just swap out coffee for whatever drink with the code words), and can be combined e.g. Kopi O Kosong
Cham - mix of both coffee and tea
Neslo - mix of nescafe and milo
She also talks about how big milo is in Malaysia, so for any foreigners who aren't feeling caffeine, milo is a great choice!
