A Sudanese refugee, identified as Abdallah A.-O., has attacked several bystanders and killed 2 people and injured 5 others in a town in southeastern France on Saturday, the 19th day of France's nationwide lockdown. The case is being treated as a terrorist attack by the authorities.
According to the country's anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office, the assailant was "found on his knees on the pavement praying in Arabic". The man is also said to be shouting “Allah Akbar!”(God is Greatest) when attacking his victims.
