The new official SOPs for National Recovery Plan remain the same as what has been previously announced in the first total lockdown dated 15th June, except for these changes:
• Restaurants and food sellers (food trucks, hawkers, etc) are now allowed to operate between 6 AM and 10 PM but only for take-aways and drive-thru.
• Schools to remain closed from 29 June onwards.
• Small-scale construction projects managed by G1 and G2-grade contractors are now under the list of necessary services.
• Maintenance works at mines and quarries are now allowed to operate.
• The loading and unloading of essential and non-essential goods at factories are allowed with strict SOPs.
To recap, here are the full SOPs:
What is allowed:
• Necessary economic service permitted to operate.
• Getting healthcare treatment, including vaccines.
• Acquiring or purchasing necessary supplies, like groceries.
What isn't allowed:
• Inter-district and inter-state movement within MCO areas without permission from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM),
• Inter-district and interstate travels.
• Social and outdoor activities.
•Dine-ins and park-and-dines.
• All social, tourism, creative, sports and recreation, and entertainment activities.
For traveling matters:
• Only two people from each household will be allowed out in order to purchase necessary supplies (grocery, medicine, etc) within 10km of their residence.
• Only a maximum of three people (including patients) are allowed to obtain medical and healthcare services, Covid-19 test screenings, or in the case of emergencies within a 10km radius from the residence OR the nearest place available if such services are not available in the area.
• Only two people (including the driver) are allowed to travel in taxis and e-hailing riders and passengers must be seated in the back seat.
• Travelling across district and state borders for Covid-19 vaccinations at Vaccination Centers (PPV) is allowed provided that you are able to show proof of vaccination on the Mysejahtera application, website, or text message.
• Inter-state travel for long-distance married couples is not allowed.
WFH Situation:
• 80% of public sector workers are instructed to work from home except for frontline services.
• Only 40% of private-sector workers are instructed to WFH.
