Introducing the Kill Switch by Maybank, this newly established online safety feature guarantees the utmost protection to its users from future scams.  

Dubbed the "deactivation" protocol, users will get the upper hand in safeguarding their accounts as the Kill Switch will automatically log you out of ALL active sessions- Maybank2u website, M2U MY app and even the MAE app.

As users will not be able to access once the deactivation period commences, this will also block potential scammers. 

How Does The 'Kill Switch' Work?

Should users notice any suspicious activities or transactions on their accounts, the deactivation can be done as the following:

Steps

1. Log in to www.maybank2u.com.my

2. SETTINGS

3. Go to SECURITY and select Kill Switch

4. Under Deactivate M2U Access, click DEACTIVATE

5. Read the terms and click PROCEED

6. Click CONFIRM 

- MAE app

Steps

1. Launch the MAE app and tap More

2. Tap Kill Switch

3. Select Deactivate M2U Access

4. Read the terms and tap Deactivate Now

5. Tap Confirm to proceed
