When it comes to flights, expecting delays or technical issues is not uncommon. However, any form of delay can certainly frustrate passengers, as we all have a destination to reach on time.

@sophian_azmi kau buat peel lah mat‍️dah satu hal nak delay pasal kau sorang malaun.#fypシ゚viral #airasia #takutjanganikot bunyi asal - SophianAzmi

In a recent incident, a foreign passenger on an AirAsia flight from KL to Langkawi created a one-hour delay due to his altercation with the flight crew and captain. A viral video of the incident has been circulating on social media, showing security personnel onboard attempting to remove the disruptive passenger from his seat.

It all began when the cabin crew announced a delay due to technical problems, which clearly upset the man, leading him to direct profanities toward the flight crew. When security asked him to leave his seat to meet the captain, as he had requested, he refused. He even claimed that he hadn't insulted anyone on the plane, despite many passengers witnessing his disruptive behaviour.

@misssufina Peristiwa semalam. Flight Air Asia AK6310. Sepatutnya terbang pukul 9.10. Tapi delay. Pelancong berang flight lewat take off lalu menaikkan suara kepada ketua pramugari. Security was called. The pilot came out too. Pada mulanya dia tidak dibenarkan naik, namun atas budi bicara, dibenarkan pula kemudiannya utk bersama-sama ke Langkawi. Sejam kemudian baru dapat take off kerana incident ini. Masalahnya, dia bongkak. Suka provoke. As we landed, dia menjadi kurang ajar semula, menjerit-jerit dengan kata-kata yang tidak enak sehingga keluar dari terminal. Benarlah, telah terbukti, our Malaysian Hospitality tersangatlah baik. If this were to happen in other countries, sudah pasti pesalah akan ditarik keluar terus atau mungkin juga digari. Syabas kepada semua yang kekal tenang sepanjang penerbangan. #fyp #flightdelayed #passengermengamuk original sound - sufinahalim

This incident infuriated the majority of passengers, and as he reluctantly rose from his seat, he was met with a chorus of curses from fellow travellers. Combined with the technical issues, this resulted in a one-hour delay. Following a discussion with the captain, cabin crew, and security personnel, as captured in viral footage, the man's stubborn demeanour remained unchanged.

However, despite this, the captain made the decision to let him return to his seat before the flight's departure. During the exchange, the captain told the man that he had just arrived in KL and could face legal consequences. In response, the man remained nonchalant, displaying no concern as he firmly believed he had committed no wrongdoing.

Upon landing, a Malaysian woman recorded the man cursing and muttering to himself about the incident, clearly expressing her dissatisfaction with his behaviour. She claimed that the man had tested everyone's patience throughout the entire journey.

As of now, there has been no official statement from AirAsia, but regardless, it's a relief that all passengers have safely reached their destination.
