At just 16, *Nadia (not her real name) was subjected to sexual assault by a man whom she thought was trustworthy, resulting in pregnancy. 

However, she didn’t lodge any report against him due to trauma, and initially kept the pregnancy a secret from her divorced parents.

Her mother eventually found out when she was six months along.   

As *Nadia finally recounted the story to local radio station Zayan FM, it got even more depressing.

She went on to share that her mother managed to track the man down and forced him to marry her, which she reluctantly obliged.

The marriage, however, was loveless and abusive. The couple officially divorced in 2022, and *Nadia, now 30, is pursuing higher education.

While sobbing on the line, she also shared the agony of not being able to move on as she’s afraid other people might find out about her past.

Despite that, her story has lifted the lid on manipulation and trauma, which led to outpouring support and empathy from listeners.
