The Shah Alam district police have made a gruesome discovery as after being alerted by the public, they find a womans body inside of a drain, and to make matters worse, the entire body had already been covered with worms.
After being notified last night at 6:30pm, the police immediately proceeded to the scene where they found the corpse of a woman floating in the drain located nearby the Dillenia housing estate in Bukit Bandaraya, Shah Alam.
In a statement, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim had confirmed that the body had been an unidentified partially-clothed woman that the body had already been maggot-ridden when discovered.
The forensic department at the Selangor police headquarters have stated that thus far, they have found no evidence of a struggle or any other pysical injuries that may have caused the death.
This case is currently being classified as a sudden death and anyone with any relevant information is urged to contact the investigating officer Inspector Izzman Mohd Idrus at 013-4003355.
