Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man on Disney+ has just released its first two episodes, and so far, it's bussin!

The 10-episode show puts a fresh spin on Peter Parker's origin story while capturing the essence of being a modern teenager. 

Set in Queens, New York, the series follows 15-year-old Peter Parker (voiced by Hudson Thames) as he begins his first year at Midtown High. 

His plans take a turn when a mysterious attack on the school leads to him being bitten by a radioactive spider, granting him incredible abilities. 

After Midtown is destroyed, Peter transfers to Bales High, balancing his friendships with Nico Minoru (Grace Song), Pearl Pangan (Cathy Ang), and Lonnie Lincoln (Eugene Byrd) while secretly embracing his role as Spider-Man.

Alongside the usual struggles of teenage life friendships, first crushes, and self-discovery, Peter is drawn into a deeper conflict when he lands an internship at Oscorp, run by Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo). 

Osborn takes a personal interest in Peter, but his true intentions remain unclear, creating an ongoing tension. 

Meanwhile, Oscorp defector Otto Octavius (Hugh Dancy) and Harlem gang leader Big Don (Ettore "Big E" Ewen) bring chaos to the city, testing Spider-Man's strength and morals.

The animation, led by Leo Romero and Polygon Pictures, mixes 2D and 3D techniques with a retro feel reminiscent of 90's cartoons and vintage comic books. 

The show also features appearances from Marvel favorites like Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent DOnofrio), adding to its appeal.
