Yes, the ninth film in the SAW series, 【Spiral: From the Book of Saw】 is the upcoming American horror film.
The new poster is just out and the film will be released on the 15th of May 2020.
The most successful horror franchises, SAW's latest film is starring Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella and Marisol Nichols while being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.
From the new poster, we can see that Chris Rock is looking at the wall which has a red spiral icon on it.
It teases Chris Rock is discovering the bloody and gory murders in town. There are many questions and confusion wondering the connection to the original movies after the trailer has been released, but Saw 9's official synopsis has confirmed that they won't be revised.
If you are their diehard fan of Saw, you would know that there is no humor element in this horror film series at all. However, this time with the casting of the comedian, Chris Rock, the new kind of SAW is unexpected.
He shared his thought saying that "It's still Saw…it's bloody, it's gory, but there's like a sprinkling of humor here and there."
With the release of the new poster, the latest Saw will be released on the 15th of May in the U.S while Malaysian fans shall wait until the 28th of May.
