Today, with a broken heart, we’re telling you that one of Japan’s most talented voice actors, Keiji Fujiwara, has passed away after fighting cancer.

Fujiwara was the voice actor behind Crayon Shinchan’s father and had played many other roles in a number of popular Japanese animations, cartoons, and TV shows. This includes Fullmetal Alchemist (Maes Hughes), Hunter x Hunter (Leorio), Attack on Titan Season 1 (Hannes), Ranma1/2, the Gundam franchise, Rurouni Kenshin, Initial D, and Hikaru no Go. In fact, Fujiwara could be found in almost every major anime from Naruto to Fairy Tail and beyond, according to ComicBook.com.
