Minister of Defence Ismail Sabri has just announced the extension of FMCO starting, starting June 15th to June 28th.
In an official statement released today, that decision was made following the development of daily Covid-19 cases that record more than 5000 cases daily. In relation to that, SOPs are to remain the same as previously announced.
The statement also reveals a few high-risk placements throughout the country that have been recorded to have a dangerous number of Covid-19 positive cases, such as:
• Kampung Kadazan, Tawau
• Vilages around Kota Kinabalu
• Taman Villa Felca Nambaza, Penampang
Other aspects mentioned in the statement include:
• SOPs Compliance Task Force
• National Border Control
• Public Sanitation Operations
• Mandatory Quarantine
• Basic Necessity Surveillance
• Mandatory Screening For Foreign Workers
