It is no surprise that the quality of some Malaysian YouTube channels are a league below international ones, especially those who do prank after prank after prank. Harmless pranks can be entertaining, of course, but when does a prank get out of hand?
According to China Press, a food delivery staff from EASI received a delivery order. The customer sent a location on WhatsApp to the rider for the food to be sent there. Many people order food for their partners so there doesn't seem to be red flags.
When the rider arrived, he realized that it was a cemetery and questioned the customer. His replied instantly infuriated the rider - "so funny". The customer then asked if the rider was willing to be on YouTube and said "it's a prank".
This led to a flurry of angry messages from the rider. To make things worse, the customer tried to calm the rider down by sending him RM5000, all the while still thinking the whole thing was very funny.
This incident was met with mixed reactions from netizens, with most of them condemning the YouTuber for this stupid prank. Some, though, think that the RM5000 was worth the trouble and mentioned that even though the rider said all those things, he still kept the money.
What do you think? Is this a harmless prank? Should the rider have rejected the money?
