Enraged animal lovers are calling out Malacca Zoo following a video of a malnourished white Bengal tiger circulating online.
The video, which was exposed by a shocked visitor, showed just how frail the poor creature’s frame is, clearly suffering from hunger and lack of proper care.
Thousands of comments have since flooded the video, with many viewers urging the zoo’s management to be more humane.
Apart from questioning the lack of funding, some even called out the state government for not properly monitoring the public attraction.
The tiger, reportedly called Elsa, isn’t the only suffering from such treatment, as previous visitors have cited that a high number of other animals are also suffering a similar fate there.
