It’s easy to get influenced by the results you often watch on the internet, especially when it comes to skincare.

However, it’s important to note that not all skincare tips are good skincare tips. Here are some tips you should actually listen to.

1. Do not do your skincare routine on a plane. The air isn’t clean, and you’re rubbing all that dirt into your skin. Instead, use a hypocholorous spray, to get rid of the bacteria on your face.

2. You cannot not wash your face after you use miscellar water on your face. That is like leaving your facewash on without washing it off. This will leave your skin irritated and dry.

3. You shouldn’t use a microfibre cloth or towel to remove the oil cleanser off your face. This just defeats the purpose on an oil cleanser. Instead, use your hands, and then emulsify and then wash offx

4. Don’t use makeup wipes for your skin. It is not gentle enough for your face. Instead, use an oil cleanser (steps are in tip #3!)

5. Coffee grounds for underneath your eye is not something you should do. Coffee is rough and your softest skin is the one underneath your eye. So you’re actually causing wrinkles and barrier dysfunction.

6. Drinking water alone cannot hydrate your skin. You need moisturizer for that.
