Earlier today, we got a sneak peek of the newest How To Train Your Dragon live action teaser, and we're in awe!
The animation studio dropped a one-minute teaser today for its reimagined and it features live-action takes on Hiccup (Mason Thames), Chief Stoick (Gerard Butler), and, of course, Toothless the dragon.
Mason steps into the lead role, while Gerard is back as Stoick, in full Viking gear just like the original.
The trailer focuses a lot on the island of Berk, showing off familiar spots like the arenas and forests Hiccup will explore on his journey.
While many areas from the animated world is getting a fresh look, the dragon designs seemed to have stayed pretty true to the original.
Quick glimpses of the other dragons reveal realistic versions that still match the animated style. Toothless, in particular, looks almost the same, just with a bit more detail.
The live-action remake seems to stick closely to the story from the 2010 classic; Hiccups bond with Toothless.
Catch the movie on the big screens in June 2025.
