A Malaysian doctor working at Birmingham Women's Hospital of the United Kingdom has died from COVID-19.
Dr R Vishna, known to his friends as Vish, was a consultant neonatologist at the hospital. He was “highly-regarded across the Midlands as part of his role as Clinical Lead for the regional Neonatal network,” wrote the official website of the Birmingham Women's and Children's Foundation when publishing the news of his death.

The hospital’s Chief Executive, Sarah-Jane Marsh described Vish as “an amazing doctor, leader, colleague and friend passionate about the care of babies and their families,” adding that his death is a great loss to friends and family.
